I developed a love for sports and an active lifestyle at a very young age, playing basketball year round, along with lacrosse, softball, soccer, and field hockey through out my adolescence. After a few injuries of my own, it was then that I decided I wanted a career in healthcare, specifically working with athletes. While attending the University of New England I had a great experience working for a professional basketball league interning as their AT, and post graduation I obtained my licensure and moved into a certified Athletic Trainer role at a Physical Therapy outpatient setting. I worked there for 4 years prescribing exercise programs and truly loved my patients of all ages, lifestyles, backgrounds, and the work I was able to provide. I love building a rapport with clients and helping them achieve their goals in having a healthy balanced lifestyle. I am so excited to pair my past experience with my interest in health and wellness as a health coach here at The Works.
