The Works Weight Management Program offers short and long term programs to assist individuals in developing behaviors for lifelong weight management and improved wellness.
NEW! My New Weigh-12 Weeks
This program is designed to assist individuals who want to open the door to sustainable weight loss. This 12 week program incorporates 6 visits with a Registered Dietitian, 12 weekly 45 minute seminars with a Certified Health Coach and 45 minute exercise program with a personal trainer. Learn about nutrition, stress management, behavior change, improved sleep, how to increase your fitness and more with our multidisciplinary team!
Elements of the program
- The class meets 1x/week for 12 consecutive weeks (45 minutes lecture, 45 minutes small group training session).
- Nutritional counseling services provided by a Registered Dietitian (6 sessions)
- Stress management and behavior change strategies provided by a Certified Health Coach (12 seminars)
- Access to an appropriately equipped facility
- Optional program-specific group exercise class that meets on Fridays at 5:30am (included in program)
- The class meets 1x/week for 12 consecutive weeks (45 minutes lecture, 45 minutes small group training session).
- Topics: Nutrition, stress management, behavior change, improved sleep, how to increase fitness and more!
What is the cost:
- $50/month for the 3 months you are in the program if your insurance covers the 6 Registered Dietitian visits. This covers the program and full facility access.
- One-time $30 fee that covers an initial assessment and required final assessment.
- We will bill your insurance for visits with the Registered Dietitian.
- Free membership during the program with full access to the facility. Members have their dues waived while enrolled!
Most commercial insurance plans cover nutrition counseling. The Works Dietitians are in-network with many carriers. Enrollees will be responsible for all charges not covered by their insurance provider. Amounts will vary based on your insurance plan.
Works Weight Management 6 or 12 Month Program
The Works Weight Management Program is designed to assist individuals with a BMI of 30 or greater develop behaviors for lifelong weight management and improved wellness. It is administered by Registered Dietitians and Health Coaches at The Works. The program provides customized nutrition and fitness instruction to support behavior change. Choose the 6 month or 12 month program options!
Elements of the program
- Nutritional counseling provided by a Registered Dietitian
- Exercise coaching and behavior change strategies provided by a Certified Health Coach
- Ongoing access to an appropriately equipped facility
- Optional availability of a Behavioral Health Counselor
Who is eligible?
- Anyone with a BMI of ≧ 30 OR a waist circumference of ≧ 35 inches for women; ≧ 40 inches for men
- Has been medically cleared by their physician
How do I apply?
If you are part of the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital/Mass General Brigham system, have your provider send a referral electronically.
If out of network, have your physician fill out our referral form and fax it back to The Wellness Center at 603-609-6306.

What is the cost?
$50/month, with a $30 enrollment fee to cover the Health Risk Assessment
Medical insurance is billed for the nutrition counseling. Our providers are in network with most carriers. To determine your costs, call your insurance company to determine coverage for:
- Do they cover the individual CPT code 97802?
- How many visits are covered?
- Does the coverage require a diagnosis such as diabetes, prevention, obesity or overweight?
- They may ask for the provider's name and NPI. They are listed under the Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation. Tax ID #02-0497927
Patients will be responsible for all charges not covered by the insurance provider including a monthly facility fee.
